Yvelife Cat Laser Toy

Image
This was for my new kitten that showed up at my home.  His name is Mittens.  Mittens liked it initially but was distracted by the sounds the device made.  After using it for around 5 minutes he had no interest in it and just stared at the device making a grinding noise. It was easy to use.  Tt included a micro USB cable but required my own adapter or I could use 4 AA batteries.  The device has a button the cycles from OFF-SLOW-FAST.  It also has a slider to control the aim.  I set up the device on a table that is about 30" off the ground.  I had to set the aim to the lowest setting because the made way too big circles otherwise.  When it is on it makes oval shapes, stops, wiggles around and reverses. Ultimantly, I am returning the device.  If it didn't make a distracting noise I think my kitten would have been more interested and would have played with it.  It is possible that mine was defective with the noise it made. Sengled - Smart Wi-Fi LED Multicolor A19 Bulb - Multicolor

Image
I was having problems with multiple other bulbs that were using Z-Wave.  My home is mostly on SmartThings.  I purchased this bulb and easily integrated it into SmartThings.  I have had no trouble with it.  There is a wide variety of colors and I do like the app. The only downside that I have with the bulb is that it is in a lamp and if it isn't on and the power is cycled on the lamp, it goes back to the last status.  This is good if the power goes out during the night but bad if not everyone has access to the smart home or app. This was purchased at BestBuy for $24.99. Sharpie S-Gel Retractable Gel Pen, Medium Point, Blue Ink, 4 Pack

Image
Purchased From Staples  for $5.99. I have been using Pilot G-2 pens for a while now.  I like their flow and smoothness.  I saw Sharpie was making Gel pens so I decided to try them out... they couldn't be any worse than their Art Pen and Retractable Pen.  I am glad. I did.  They write smoothly.  I did get 0.7 where G-2 I liked 1.0.  These don't seem like they will break as easy and they will easily fit into my backpack slots easily since they are thinner than the G-2s.  I now have my new go-to pen.
